Founded in 1937, Hentland was a UK-based fire and security services provider operating nationally from headquarters in Bodmin providing a comprehensive portfolio of mechanical and electrical fire protection services to over 1,800 customers covering the; leisure, logistics, healthcare, food, public service and retail sectors.
In October 2016, Hentland was acquired by Marlowe plc as part of its early-stage strategy to build a national fire and security compliance platform.
This acquisition formed part of Marlowe’s consolidation of the fragmented UK fire and security market, alongside businesses such as Swift Fire & Security.
